2. Information We Collect and How We Use It

We collect the following information and use it solely for the purposes described.

• Email address: Used for account creation, authentication, login, and important service communications
• Display name: Used to identify you to other members within your workspace
• Place coordinates (latitude/longitude): We store the location of places (geofences) that you register, and use them to determine entry and exit. These are the coordinates of the point you set on the map, not your real-time location
• Presence history: We record when you entered and exited places you have set up, and use this to display presence information to your workspace members
• Push notification token: Used to notify members of entries and exits

3. How We Handle Location Data

We want to be clear about how iruyo handles location data.

• Location data is used solely to determine entry to and exit from places (geofences) that you have registered
• Outside of places you have configured or approved, we do not collect, record, or store your real-time GPS coordinates or movement history
• No location data is transmitted to our servers outside of places you have configured or approved
• Outside of your configured places, no third party, including the operator, can know your current location or movement history
• Presence sharing is only activated when you explicitly opt in for each place
• You can withdraw your consent at any time from the settings

4. Who Can See Your Information

• Presence information is only visible to members of workspaces you belong to
• Users outside your workspace cannot view your presence information
• We do not use your information for advertising purposes or sell it to third parties
• We do not share personal information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law

5. Data Storage

• Data is stored on Supabase (cloud database) in the Tokyo region (Japan)
• All communications are encrypted via TLS/SSL
• Presence history (records of who was at which place and when) is stored for service operation purposes
• When you delete your account, your personal information (account data, presence history, notification tokens, etc.) is permanently deleted. Workspaces and places you created will remain available for other members to use, with your creator information removed

6. Background Location Usage

This app uses location data in the background to detect your entry to and exit from places you have registered.

• We use iOS geofencing, which does not involve continuous GPS tracking
• Designed to minimize battery consumption
• Background location usage can be disabled at any time from iOS Settings

7. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal information.

• Access: You may request disclosure of the personal information we hold about you
• Correction and deletion: You may request correction, addition, or deletion of your personal information if it is inaccurate
• Suspension of use: You may request that we stop using your personal information
• Account deletion: You can delete your account at any time from the app settings, which will permanently delete your personal information

8. Children's Privacy

This app is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
