Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Is my location being tracked all the time?

No. iruyo only detects when you enter or leave places you have set up or approved. Your GPS coordinates and movement history are never recorded or tracked outside of those places. No location data is sent to our servers outside of places you have configured or approved.

Q. Does the app affect my battery life?

iruyo uses iOS geofencing, which does not involve continuous GPS tracking, so the impact on battery life is minimal.

Q. How do I stop sharing my presence at a place?

On the place detail screen, tap the "Sharing" button to stop sharing for that place. Once sharing is stopped, your entries and exits at that place will no longer be detected.

Q. How do I leave a workspace?

Go to the Settings screen and select "Leave group" from the workspace section.

Q. How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account from the "Delete account" option at the bottom of the Settings screen. Once deleted, all your data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

Q. Can the operator see where I am?

No. Outside of places you have set up, there is no way for the operator to know your current location. Presence information is only visible to members of workspaces you belong to.
